3D Printing Sensor Holders

3 iterations of the sensor holder were completed to ensure easy access/removal of the sensor and no plastic deformation or failure due to cyclical loading. The first iteration (shown below on the left) was printed from TPU 85A with a weight of 5.25 g. The last iteration (shown below on the right) was printed from ABS to provide more rigidity than prior, providing a stronger snap lock. Sensors can now be inserted and removed with ease from the outside of the sleeve and lock snuggly into place. The final design possesses a base piece which is sewn to the sleeve and a top piece which holds the sensor in place and weighs 7.25 g as an assembly (not including the sensor).
